Night Orienteering


LOCATION: FORT MOORE

NO SPECTATORS

TASK: Conduct a night orienteering course.

CONDITIONS: Conducted during hours of limited visibility, while wearing the BRC uniform with TAPs, eye protection, gloves, MOLLE ruck with prescribed BRC packing list, 1:50k Fort Benning map, protractor, headlamp, bundled equipment, and inert weapon.

STANDARDS: Competitor teams must negotiate to one rendezvous point (RV) at a time, moving to as many RVs as possible within the allotted time.Score will be determined by the total cumulative straight-line distance traveled from all RV’s reached.Violation of the roads and trail policy will result in a distance penalty.
