Holcomb Range Machine gun

1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM

LOCATION: HOLCOMB RANGE

Spectators Allowed

TASK: Conduct an M240 Course of Fire.

CONDITIONS: Conducted during daylight hours, given an M240L, Trijicon Optic, and 150 rounds. Each team member will be wearing the BRC uniform with ACH, gloves, Plate Carrier, eye protection, and ear protection.

STANDARDS: Teams will have two minutes to familiarize themselves with their weapon systems on a zero target. Weapon systems will then be cleared and moved to the qualification lanes after familiarization. Each team member will have one minute to load, engage five targets with the weapon system, and clear and unload the weapon system. The second team member will act as a spotter/coach. Team members will then switch positions and the second team member will fire the same course of fire. Team ranking will be determined by a combination of both competitor’s total number of targets hit. The number of rounds remaining will be returned to the ammo point and will be used as the tiebreaker.
